Own the Wind (Chaos, #1)

Own the Wind - Kristen Ashley I can't....-----Aly was very kind in letting me use her rant for my review as well.I do agree with her completelyhttp://www.goodreads.com/review/show/614998174

The Great Escape

The Great Escape - Susan Elizabeth Phillips This was also great, but I still love Meg more :)))

Hot Head

Hot Head (Head #1) - Damon Suede

I was bored, and so decided to read something new. And this popped out from somewhere!

And I'm really happy that I started it! This is M/M and it's HOT! Like ... Smoke and Fire! :))

But there's more, what I loved about this story was how author talked about 9/11. The thing the people went through... My heart was and still is aching or everyone there who went through that nightmare!

And the people who lost their loved ones.. And for those who are now dead..
I still remember that day, when I came back from school, turned on my tv, but every channel were broadcast live with footage from Big Apple. Because of the time differences it was not long after the first plane crashed. I was shocked and couldn't stop crying.. I still remember that feeling of helplessness and loss.. It was horrible!
So this is not just some gay romance here, this is a great book that shows more and make you think more.

Peace,
A.

Fifth Grave Past the Light (Charley Davidson, #5)

Fifth Grave Past the Light - Darynda Jones

Review.. Soon!

Call Me Irresistible - Susan Elizabeth Phillips Well!!!This was some journey! And I absolutely loved it! I'm ashamed to say, that I truly forgot how wonderfully SEP can swing a story, with real life conflicts and good humor in it!The characters are always one of a kind! Full of life and their own quirks.Gotta love this woman for all the joy her books brings. And I actually managed to squeeze a tear at the end, and a happy one at that!So i you haven't done it already, go on and read it!Peace,A.

The Darkest Kiss (Lords of the Underworld, Book 2)

The Darkest Kiss - Gena Showalter Ok, ok ok!I'm fangirling a bit over here! This was so much better then the first book of this series! This was awesome! I loved it!Anya and Lucian! Match made in heaven or maybe in hell, who knows, who cares.. Now I'm really hooked!!!Thank you Aly :****Peace,A.

The Darkest Night (Lords of the Underworld, #1)

The Darkest Night (Lords of the Underworld, #1) - Gena Showalter Well this was something.
Bone Crossed (Mercedes Thompson, #4) - Patricia Briggs Prepare to be SPOILED! And not in a good way..Do you know the feeling, when you're actually sick with disappointment? That's how I feel. Well maybe I ate to much, that could be it too, but I'm fairly certain it's the disappointment. -.-And angry! Adam is a real impotent if you'd ask me. He's never there when she TRULY needs him to be there... When there's the most important battles she's all alone. Maybe it's the idea of her being capable to fight on her own and blah. But she always says that she's not strong enough. But then she goes and saves the day! Really? wow.. she must have been kidding herself...Also lets not forget that same old pattern, which by now really pisses me off! I really need to take a breather on this series.. although I'm not even sure if I come back at all.Oh and have you noticed how everybody loves everybody, but you CAN'T actually feel that love??ah, right, we have to assume it's there!!! I'm so done for right now....Peace,A.
SPOILER ALERT!

Iron Kissed (Mercy Thompson Series #3) by Patricia Briggs

Iron Kissed (Mercy Thompson Series #3) -

blurb:

'I could smell her fear, and it satisfied something deep inside me that had been writhing under her cool, superior gaze. I curled my upper lip so she could get a good look at my sharp teeth. I might only weigh thirty or so pounds in my coyote shape, but I was a predator...'

Mechanic Mercy Thompson can shift her shape - but not her loyalty. When her former boss and mentor is arrested for murder and left to rot behind bars by his own kind, it's up to Mercy to clear his name, whether he wants her to or not.

Mercy's loyalty is under pressure from other directions, too. Werewolves are not known for their patience, and if Mercy can't decide between the two she cares for, Sam and Adam may make the choice for her...

Blood Bound (Mercy Thompson, Book 2)

Blood Bound - Patricia Briggs This was definitely better!!!
Moon Called - Patricia Briggs I don't know.. there were some funny moments. But the plot was not interesting, the reasons for some actions was just stupid, and I'm not in love with Adam. Mercy is ok, but I expected to be more interested in this series by the end of book one.I'm not sure I even like the world that author is building.I didn't have this anxiety that I had with Fever series or Kate Daniels :( That's sad.I don't know what I was expecting, but I haven't find it.However, knowing the blind love that some people have for these books, I intend to continue with this series. And hopefully I'll find what others did, too. Please girls, don't hate me!And the chemistry between Adam and Mercy? All I can say about it is , What chemistry?? There was none. :(
Never Too Far - Abbi Glines WHATAHELL happened to my smart Blaire??? Where is she???? What have you done to her?I don't know you!You keep reacting to anything and everything, you don't use your head, only your emotions! I know it's hard on ya right about now, but seriously!!! WHAT THE HELL??And you Rush.. don't even make me start on you! You're in so much trouble now!How is it that guys just don't think? I mean in situations like this one, they just stop using their brainz!Oh but I guess since Blaire stopped using hers, you're perfect or each other, then...The only thing that's saving this book is that it's not the real ending, we have another book.Well, and maybe that everything got better in the end, at least I was happy with it. If not the ending you'd now be witnessing me using a lot of insulting gif's and probably 1 to 3 star review.I'm so not proud with this book. I loved the first one, what happened?Someone? ANYONE?Agh!Anyway, most of it was just Frustrating! Frustrante! Frustrant! Frustrující! Frustrierend! Sinir bozucu! Frustrująca!Ματαίωση!there ya go. Now I feel better :)But, no matter how frustrating this was, I will read the last book in this series. I just need a short break... I can't even look at them at the moment..Peace,A.

Killing Sarai (Killing Sarai, #1) by J.A. Redmerski

Killing Sarai (Killing Sarai, #1) - J.A. Redmerski

blurb:

Sarai was only fourteen when her mother uprooted her to live in Mexico with a notorious drug lord. Over time she forgot what it was like to live a normal life, but she never let go of her hope to escape the compound where she has been held for the past nine years.

Victor is a cold-blooded assassin who, like Sarai, has known only death and violence since he was a young boy. When Victor arrives at the compound to collect details and payment for a hit, Sarai sees him as her only opportunity for escape. But things don’t go as planned and instead of finding transport back to Tucson, she finds herself free from one dangerous man and caught in the clutches of another.
While on the run, Victor strays from his primal nature as he succumbs to his conscience and resolves to help Sarai. As they grow closer, he finds himself willing to risk everything to keep her alive; even his relationship with his devoted brother and liaison, Niklas, who now like everyone else wants Sarai dead.
As Victor and Sarai slowly build a trust, the differences between them seem to lessen, and an unlikely attraction intensifies. But Victor’s brutal skills and experience may not be enough in the end to save her, as the power she unknowingly holds over him may ultimately be what gets her killed.
